PEPSI TITAN SIZZLE
We were tasked with creating a dynamic sizzle video to introduce Pepsi's new global rebranding. The goal was to highlight various design elements and emphasize the depth and details of the new look. The video was crafted to illustrate how these designs translate into tangible experiences, with a coherent storyline connecting different elements. Realistic environments and settings were incorporated to convey authenticity and relevance to real-life moments.
Execution:
The video is a blend of multiple elements, including:
- Live action footage
- Stock footage
- AI-generated content
- 2D/3D animation
- Out-of-home (OOH) placements
- In-store displays
- Illustrations
- Kinetic typography
- Packaging design
- Music and sound effects
These components were integrated into a cohesive edit that addressed various touchpoints of the brand, including music, food, refreshment, pop culture, creativity, fandom, and sports. The sizzle reel aimed to communicate the new branding globally, encouraging consistent adoption of the visual system across various markets and injecting fresh energy into consumer experiences.
My Role: Lead 3D Artist
As the Lead 3D Artist, I was responsible for:
- Creating many of the shots involving intricate patterns.
- Developing the detailed shot of the inside of a Pepsi cola can.
- Conducting extensive research and development (R&D) to ensure the highest quality of 3D animation and visual effects.
My contributions helped bring the rebranding vision to life, ensuring the 3D elements were both visually stunning and aligned with Pepsi's new branding strategy.
