Philips Signify Future Factory

Commissioned by creative production agency Popcornbrain, I was tasked with bringing to life a futuristic, fully autonomous car factory for a campaign by Philips Signify. Known for their bold and cinematic approach to storytelling, Popcornbrain developed a high-concept vision of a world where machines run the show—sleek, synchronized, and eerily efficient.
Under the sharp eye of VFX supervisor Tim Smit, I designed and animated an expansive robotic production line, where not a single human appears. Every mechanical element—robotic arms, conveyor belts, autonomous units—operates in perfect unison, guided by intelligent lighting systems that showcase the possibilities of Signify’s technology.
My role was to create a compelling, immersive 3D world: cold metal surfaces, glowing status lights, smooth camera moves, and precise motion—all combining to paint a plausible and awe-inspiring picture of tomorrow’s industrial landscape. A seamless blend of function and fiction.
